Accelerated College Transition Program sponsored by a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Justice in collaboration with the Research Foundation at the City University of New York, LaGuardia Community College & Queensboro Correctional Facility.
Dr. Joni Schwartz-Chaney is Co-Investigator with Professor John R. Chaney. She is also a professor in the ACT program and researcher. The ACT program provides college classes in prison and assists returning citizens in enrolling in college.
